PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stabilize the operation characteristics of a rotor by preventing backlash in the yoke of an electromagnetic actuator equipped with a rotor and a yoke. SOLUTION: The electromagnetic actuator is equipped with a rotor 41 which is magnetized in an N pole and an S pole and supported on a substrate 10 free to turn, yokes 42 and 43 each having two magnetic pole portions 42a and 42b, 43a and 43b formed to face the outer peripheral surfaces 41b and 41c of the rotor 41 for generating different magnetic poles, and a coil 44 for excitation wound around the yokes 42 and 43. The yokes 42 and 43 are held and assembled on the substrate 10 while holding a positioning projection 13 therebetween in the state of being elastically deformed to widen the intervals between the first arm parts 42a and 43a and the second arm parts 42b and 43b.
