PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hard coat film having antistatic performance free of change with the lapse of time and temperature dependency and good in hard coatability. SOLUTION: The hard coat film is such one that at least one side of a biaxially oriented thermoplastic film is provided with a hard coat layer of higher than 2H in pencil hardness, wherein the hard coat layer has a surface resistivity R<SB>40</SB>of≤1×10<SP>10</SP>Ω/square at 25°C and 40%RH.
