<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an outdoor lighting apparatus used suitably as a barrier provided to control an entry of a vehicle on a road or a park, a stone lantern, or a curbstone, and having a compact and simple structure equipped with a lighting device that can be continuously used for long time and generates no secondary pollution. <P>SOLUTION: A recess is provided on a body made of stone and the like. The recess contains therein the lighting device wherein a solar cell, an electrical double-layer capacitor charging electrical power to the solar cell, and an LED caused to emit light by the output of the electrical double-layer capacitor are integrally implemented. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
