<p>PURPOSE: To solve the following problem: in insert molding with both end parts of a sheet-shaped fitting fixed in a mold, when a resin is injected from an approximately middle part of the fixing part, the fitting is deformed by the pressure of the injected resin. CONSTITUTION: In the molding of a connector 3 insert-molding the fitting 1 with both end parts protruding from a main body 1, the first and second end parts 4 and 6 of the fitting 1 are fixed to a resin injection space part 12 in the mold 11. When the resin is injected from a flange forming part 13 arranged in its approximately middle part into the resin injection space part 12, by forming a crank-like channel 26 in its injection part, the speed of the resin flowing into the space part 12 is decreased. In this way, a resin pressure to the fitting is lowered to prevent the deformation of the fitting. When an adhesive for improving the adhesion to the resin is applied on the fitting, peeling by a high speed resin flow can also be prevented.</p> |
