PURPOSE: Structure for preventing damage to an oil seal of a manual transmission for a vehicle is provided to prevent the oil seal from being damaged in assembling a manual shaft of the manual transmission, facilitate assembling of the main shaft, and prevent an oil leakage. CONSTITUTION: In a manual transmission, an oil seal(12) for preventing an oil leakage is installed to the end of a transfer adapter(8) with a bearing(10) for supporting a main shaft(4). In structure for preventing damage to the oil seal of the manual transmission for a vehicle, a guide spacer(20), having an inner peripheral surface guiding the main shaft, is installed between the bearing and the oil seal. Chamfers, guiding the main shaft to the inside of the guide spacer, are formed on the edges between the bearing side and the inner peripheral surface of the guide spacer. Plural flue grooves are formed to the inner peripheral surface of the guide spacer, to easily exhaust foreign substances. |
