<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a hydrogen generator for a fuel cell, by which a hydrogen-containing fuel can be weighed and fed to a chemical reaction chamber irrespective of orientation of an apparatus. <P>SOLUTION: The hydrogen generator 54 comprises a chemical reaction chamber 60, a chemical solution reservoir 56 and a non-powered pressure generating member 58 for transferring a chemical solution from the chemical solution reservoir 56 to the chemical reaction chamber 60. The non-powered pressure generating member 58 pushes off a water-soluble metal hydride contained in the chemical solution reservoir 56 composed of a flexible bag by spring force to send it to the chemical reaction chamber 60. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
