PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mounting structure for a small-sized motor dispensed with solder welding. SOLUTION: The mounting structure for the small-sized motor is configured such that a vibration motor 10 is clipped by a lid case 2 on a printed wiring board 4 of a case body 1 by putting the lid case 2 on the case body 1 and fixing it thereto. The vibration motor comprises: a box-shape holder 14 formed with a slit 14f penetrating the bottom of the holder to a sidewall 14e; a pair of conductive leaf spring pieces 16 which integrally comprise conductive terminal backup plates 16a colliding with the internal end face of the slit side of the holder, extend along the bottom the case and are pressure-welded to conductive patterns 4a of the printed wiring board 4; a vibration motor body 12 which is housed in the holder and of which the motor terminal 12e is pressure-welded to the backup plate, and a retaining means which retains and holds the backup plate when inserting the backup plate from the bottom side via the slit. The retaining means is formed by engaging a round backup base 14ea and a semilunar notch 16ab in a male/female engaging manner. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
