PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a body mounting structure in an automobile toy in which the body can be mounted to the chassis by mounted portions provided on both sides of the chassis and an engagement portions engaged with engagement portions in the front and the rear of the mounted portions provided in the body. SOLUTION: In the body mounting structure in the automobile toy in which the body 51 is mounted to the chassis 11, the chassis is split into a central chassis portion 11c, a front wheel chassis portion 11f and a rear wheel chassis portion 11r. The front wheel and rear wheel chassis portions are structured to independently swing with respect to the central chassis portion. Mounted portions are provided on both sides of the central chassis portion, and engagement portions engaging with the front and rear engagement portions of the mounted portions and preventing vertical and forward/rearward movements of the body with respect to the chassis are provided in the body are provided.
