<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently set a system by setting an optimum inventory control system minutely for every foothold/goods, and easily confirming a simulation result at that time on a screen. <P>SOLUTION: A plurality of inventory management models are presented at a model selection/parameter setting part 62 for selection for every foothold/goods displayed at a display part 61 on a model selection/parameter setting screen 60. A parameter 65 is set and basic data 66 for computation is inputted for the selected model, and operation of outputting and confirming the simulation result is repeated to set the inventory control system. Information set last time is displayed beforehand on the model selection/parameter setting screen 60, and an inventory reference value 67 is also confirmed on the same screen. As a result, the simulation result of inventory days, a stockout rate and inventory progress is easily confirmed in the form of status quo, last time and this time by the set system and parameter.
