<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an oversheet and a card which are non-PVC materials and have releasability from an ink ribbon in sublimation transfer printing and which cause no peeling, nor cracking, even in pressing and cause no curling after an image receiving layer is formed. <P>SOLUTION: The oversheet for the card has the image receiving layer on one side of a transparent sheet base. The sheet base is constituted mainly of a polyester resin, polycarbonate or a polymer alloy of the polyester resin and the polycarbonate and the image receiving layer is formed by using a solution constituted mainly of a water-based resin.
