PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image input apparatus having blur-correcting function, and a method capable of adjusting the image input apparatus by synchronizing pseudo-blur vibration with a frame frequency and exposing an image in the pseudo-vibration in the same conditions, and an adjusting apparatus therefor. SOLUTION: The image input apparatus 60 has an imaging optical system 61 (optical unit) for forming an object image on a predetermined image forming surface; an imaging means 62 (imaging element unit) for converting the object image into video signals. The apparatus 60 is also provided with a blur-detecting means 63 for detecting a blur amount of the apparatus 60; a blur-correcting means 64 for moving the object image on the image forming surface or the means 62 in the direction of canceling the effects of blur; conversion coefficient storage means 65 (memory group) for storing a conversion coefficient determining a drive control amount of the means 64, on the basis of the output of the means 63; blur correction control means 66 (system controller) for driving the means 64, on the basis of the determined driving control amount; and external signal input means 67 (external input terminal) for receiving an external signal.
