PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily perform wiring by eliminating necessity to lay a lead wire on the side where an operating switch of a control device is located in a washing machine for washing clothing or the like. SOLUTION: An upper part of a washing machine body is covered with an upper frame, a control device 14 is provided within an operating panel part covering a part of the upper frame, and a plurality of lead wires 15 and 16 are connected to the control device 14. The control device 14 has a power source 17, an operation display part 18 and a power source switch 19, and the lead wire 16 connecting the power source 17 and the power source switch 19 is connected via the rear side of the control device 14.
