<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic appliance capable of surely detecting an opened/closed state while suppressing influence to a magnetic medium. <P>SOLUTION: A peripheral part faced to a magnetic substance 8 of a hinge part 5a is formed of a raw material 21 passing magnetic force in the opened state of a display device 4, and in the closed state, the peripheral part is formed of a shielding plate 20 passing no magnetic force. When the display device 4 is rotated from the closed state to the opened state, the shielding plate 20 is moved in a direction coming out from a space between a magnetic sensor 10 and the magnetic substance 8, so that the magnetic force reaches the magnetic sensor 10, which detects the opened state of the display device 4. When the display device 4 is rotated from the opened state to the closed state, the shielding plate 20 enters into the space between the magnetic sensor 10 and the magnetic substance 8, the magnetic force is shielded and the closed state of the display device 4 is detected. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO</p> |
