PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the temperature of a magnet constituting magnetic bearings for an exhaust turbine supercharger from exceeding an allowable maximum temperature. SOLUTION: The exhaust turbine supercharger 1 comprises a housing and a shaft 2 rotatably arranged in the housing at its longitudinal shaft, wherein a turbine impeller 4 and a compressor impeller 3 are arranged on the shaft, the shaft being guided into radial bearings 5, 6 designed as magnetic bearings and at least one thrust bearing 9. Bearings 5, 6, 9 have respective supporting discs 12, 14, 16 arranged on the shaft 2 and at least one each of stators 19, 20, 21, 22, 49, 50 which face each other at least one side in the axial direction with a gap formed thereto. At least one of air passages 62, 65 is formed in the housing to allow the cooling of the bearings, and the load of an air flow is applied on at least one bearing gap through the air passage.
