PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a die for forming a circumferential surface of a barrel portion of a cylindrical body with a bottom from a circular section to a dissimilar section at high efficiency and with high accuracy, a device and a method for manufacturing a can, and the can.

SOLUTION: In a die 40 for forming a plurality of groove parts extending in the axial direction on a barrel portion of the cylindrical body with the bottom, the die 40 has a substantially cylindrical body part 42, and a plurality of projecting parts 44 which are projecting in the radial direction are disposed in an annular manner on an inner circumferential surface of the body part 42. The cylindrical body the bottom is inserted in the die 40, and the groove parts are formed in the barrel portion by pressing the projecting parts 44 against the circumferential surface of the barrel portion of the cylindrical body with the bottom downwardly in the axial direction and inwardly in the radial direction.
