PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a toilet device clean and compact giving a relatively thin impression of a toilet seat. SOLUTION: This toilet device is provided with a toilet body with a built-in toilet function provided laterally long on the rear end part of a toilet bowl 1; a toilet seat 2 provided at the toilet body and positioned on the toilet bowl with a clearance 7 to the upper face of the toilet bowl; and an openable/closable toilet cover provided at the toilet body to cover the toilet seat and the toilet body. The toilet seat is formed by inclining the outer peripheral side surface 9 inward toward the bottom face and the inner peripheral side surface 10 outward and forming the inclination of the outer peripheral side surface deeper than that of the inner peripheral side surface. A compact impression is given while increasing the thickness of the toilet seat, and the clearance is narrowed to suppress the intrusion of splash from the inside of the toilet bowl into the clearance in draining stool or the like to thereby make clean.
