PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sound device which can use a socket for connecting a headphone as a socket for connecting a sub-woofer device. SOLUTION: When a plug for the headphone is inserted into the socket for connecting the headphone, a means to forcibly turns off a switch is installed irrespective of a control signal from a controller of the sound device by detecting that the plug for headphone is inserted into the socket for connecting headphone. When a plug for the sub-woofer device is inserted into the socket for connecting the headphone, a means is installed to maintain that on-off control of the switch is made based on a control signal from the control part of the sound device by detecting that the plug for sub-woofer device is inserted into the socket for connecting the headphone.
