PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a carbamate compound which is industrially advantageously synthesized and becomes a safely usable agricultural and horticultural fungicide having secure effect. SOLUTION: The carbamate derivative is represented by formula (1) (R1is a 1-6C alkyl group or the like; R2is a hydrogen atom or the like; R3is a hydrogen atom or the like; A is a 1-6C alkylene which may be substituted or the like; X is an oxygen atom or a sulfur atom; Q is a phenyl group which may be substituted, a group represented by formula (2) or a group represented by formula (3) R4is a 1-6C alkyl group or the like; R5is a 1-6C alkyl group or the like; Y is a 1-6C alkyl group, a phenyl 1-6C alkyl group which may be substituted or the like).
