PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic vent valve which is designed such that it exactly carries out opening and closing operation according to the pressure within a device without being influenced by accumulation of dust, mist or the like so as to automatically discharge gas stored within the device, and that it can automatically discharge the gas filled in the inside of the device to the outside without defining an air pocket where the gas stays within the device. SOLUTION: An exhaust port RA of an exhaust gas induction duct R attached to the uppermost part of the device main body Z is opened laterally. An end surface of the exhaust port RA is inclined. A lid plate S for opening and closing the exhaust port RA according to variation in pressure within the device main body Z is swingably hung on a front face of the exhaust port RA.
