<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a parking lot management device having a key depositing box which speeds up processing work at entrance/exit and prevents a mistake in transfer of a key by associating entrance/exit management of a vehicle to/from a parking lot, storage management of the kept key and payment management of a parking charge. <P>SOLUTION: When a ticket issuing button 11 or 12 of a parking ticket issuing machine 10 is turned on, a parking pallet or a parking space where the vehicle can be parked is searched. When the vehicle can be parked, a parking ticket on which a pallet number or a space number is recorded is issued. A door 31S of the prescribed key box 31 of the key depositing box 30 opens and the key can be kept.
