PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vibration attenuation type base-isolated building which can effectively attenuate minute vibration caused by wind or the like at an early stage so as to obtain vibration attenuation effect at the time of strong wind and which can utilize a small-sized vibration attenuation equipment, and a vibration attenuation equipment used for the vibration attenuation type base-isolated building. SOLUTION: The vibration attenuation type base-isolated building 1 includes a base 2 made of concrete which is fixed to the ground by means of piles or the like, a base-isolating device 5 consisting of an isolator 4 with a lead stanchion 3 therein, a superstructure 6 supported by the base 2 via the base-isolating device 5, and the vibration attenuation equipment 7 arranged between the base 2 and the superstructure 6.
