PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a combustion apparatus for preventing fuel leakage in a fuel channel and to provide a water heater having the combustion apparatus. SOLUTION: A hot water supplying apparatus 1 has the combustion apparatus 2, and heats water in a water pipe 9 in a combustion case 3 by heat exchange with a high-temperature combustion gas that is generated by the combustion apparatus 2. Fuel outward and inward paths 16, 17 are connected to a fuel injection nozzle 12 in the combustion apparatus 2. The fuel outward path 16 has a solenoid valve 20 and a check valve 21 in the middle, thus doubly stopping the fuel outward path 16. Similarly, the fuel inward path 17 has a check valve 23 and an injector valve 25 in the middle for double stopping. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
