<p>A heat-sensitive recording material comprises (a) a microhollow-containing layer of a film-forming water-soluble or -dispersible polymer and alkali-swellable, crosslinked homogeneously-formed polymer particles; and (b) a heat-sensitive recording layer. An independent claim is also included for production of the recording material by (1) conventionally forming a layer (A); (2) adding an alkali to swell the particles; (3) drying layer (A); and (4) applying a heat-sensitive layer (B).</p> |
