PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a substrate housing container and a card case holder by which the substrate housing container can be easily recognized and no work mistake occurs. SOLUTION: The card case holder 10 is provided to hold a card case for storing recognition information on the substrate on one side wall 16 of the substrate housing container. It consists of a pair of facing holding members formed of a plate 18, at least one fitting part 15 to be engaged with the substrate housing container 1, a card case holding part that is formed at one end of the plate 18 while having an opening 19 in two directions crossing orthogonally, and a rib 14 that is formed at the other end of the plate 18 and is in contact with the card case.
