PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fishing reel equipped with a power transmission mechanism which can inhibit the emission of a foreign sound and a creaky noise and downsize the main body of the reel. SOLUTION: This fishing reel equipped with a power transmission mechanism for transmitting a rotation power inputted from a handle to a driving portion in the main body 1 of the reel is characterized in that the power transmission mechanism 7 has separately oppositely arranged magnetic rotators 8a and 9a in a power-transmitting portion and that a magnetic power generated between the magnetic rotators can be utilized to transmit the power in a non-contact state.
