PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image inclination detecting device for improving reliability of inclination detection of a printed material. SOLUTION: An information extracting means 12 extracts front face information and rear face information of the printed material from image information inputted from the printed material. A feature extracting 13 extracts a feature of the image from the front face information and the rear face information extracted by the information extracting means 12 respectively. An image inclination calculating means 14 calculates the inclination on the image of the printed material from the feature of the front face information and the feature of the rear face information extracted by the feature extracting means 13. An image inclination detecting means 15 detects the inclination on the image of the printed material on the basis of an inclination on the image by the front face information and an inclination on the image by the rear face information calculated by the image inclination calculating means 14.
