CONTROL DEVICE FOR HYBRID VEHICLE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control device for a hybrid vehicle for compatibly establishing cylinder cutoff operating control and battery device heating control.

SOLUTION: The control device for the hybrid vehicle which can travel with the power of at least one of an engine adaptable for partially cylinder-cutoff operation and a motor being transmitted to front wheels comprises a battery for delivering energy to the motor and a battery temperature sensor for detecting the temperature of the battery. When the temperature of the battery is a preset value #TBATWAME or lower, the heating control of the battery is performed (Step S304). Whether the partially cylinder-cutoff operation is adaptable or not is determined in accordance with the driven condition of the engine. When the cylinder-cutoff operation is adaptable, the battery is heated while performing vibration damping control for driving the motor so that the vibration of the engine is suppressed (Step S308).
