<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a merchandise price payment system that can save an input at the payment of a merchandise price and can ensure the payment. <P>SOLUTION: The merchandise price payment system comprises a host system installed in a financial institution managing a purchaser's account, and an automatic teller machine connected to the host system. When selling merchandise, a sales company receives the purchaser's account information to register billing information about the merchandise price in the host system according to the purchaser's account information.
