PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To call user's attention by reporting that a reservation completion setting means is erroneously not operated in the case of that in a rice cooker capable of reserving and setting the time to finish cooking. SOLUTION: The reservation time is set by a reservation time setting means 3, a state of setting the reservation time is turned to the state of cooking rice corresponding to the set reservation time by a reservation completion setting means 4 and a heating means 2 for heating a pot 1 is controlled by a control means 8. The control means 8 is provided with a leaving time timing means for timing the time from the last operation of one or more setting means including at least the reservation time setting means 3 to the present time. In the case that the timed time by the leaving time timing means becomes first prescribed time or longer in the state of setting the reservation time, it is alarmed by an alarming means 6.
