<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To quickly and surely input a desired shape to display it. <P>SOLUTION: When a user inputs handwriting S<SB>O</SB>by a pen 16, the handwriting S<SB>O</SB>is displayed once in a display part as shown in Figure a. Character extraction processing is carried out on the handwriting S<SB>O</SB>, and a line L<SB>O</SB>and an arc A<SB>O</SB>obtained as a result are displayed as shown in Figure b. For example, when the user draws a triangle, the user inputs handwriting S<SB>1</SB>by the pen 16 so that the handwriting does not cross both ends of the arc A<SB>O</SB>but both ends of the line L<SB>O</SB>. The user can easily recognize that the drawn figure can easily be recognized as the triangle when the handwriting S<SB>1</SB>is drawn according to the line L<SB>O</SB>in comparison with drawing according to the arc A<SB>O</SB>. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO</p> |
