PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a parking device, in which a sufficiently wide space for a getting-on-and-off an automobile is ensured, the burdens of entering and leaving persons are lightened and a waiting time is reduced and an entry and outgo are enabled and which can be constructed at a place, where a frontage is not large. SOLUTION: At least two rows of rows (a), (b), (c) and (d) with a plurality of automobile storage shelves are installed, automobile conveying sections 18 and 19 conveying the automobiles along the rows between the rows are mounted, berth sections 17 corresponding to at least approximately two automobiles are secured to parts of the rows and the automobiles are shifted among both the berth sections and the automobile conveying section and both the automobile conveying section and the automobile storage shelves.
