WIRE ROPE AND APPARATUS FOR DRAWING SINGLE CRYSTAL AND PROCESS FOR PREPARING SINGLE CRYSTAL

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wire rope for growing a single crystal which securely yields the single crystal having an expected quality without adjusting the drawing speed in consideration of initial elongation, even in the first drawing after replacing the wire rope. SOLUTION: The wire rope is used for drawing a single crystal grown through Czochralski method. After manufacturing the wire rope, tensile load is applied to perform a pre-tension processing before performing the first single-crystal drawing. Preferably, the pre-tension processing is performed by fixing one end of the wire rope to hang it perpendicularly and applying the tensile load corresponding to 30-60% of its breaking load to the other end for 30-60 min.
