PURPOSE: A remote control appropriate for a stereoscopic menu image is provided to promptly search various electronic program guide information corresponding to wanted date, time and channels. CONSTITUTION: A remote control has six directional buttons used for moving to a wanted menu. Two directional buttons out of the six directional buttons are arranged right and left to move a position of a cursor right and left on an X-axis. Another two directional buttons out of the six directional buttons are arranged up and down to move the position of the cursor up and down on a Y-axis. The rest of the buttons are arranged diagonally to move the position of the cursor backward and forward on a Z-axis. |
