PURPOSE: Provided are a method for producing the mycelium of Armillaria mellea and a medium composition therefor which contains a malt extract, thereby massively producing mycelia of Armillaria mellea. CONSTITUTION: In the culture of the mycelium of Armillaria mellea comprising the steps of: preparing a culture medium using a malt extract, and inoculating an inoculant of Armillaria mellea into the medium and culturing it, the culture medium is characterized by containing a malt extract in the predetermined amount.
