PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a data back-up system capable of using backed-up data quickly in emergency. SOLUTION: The automatic inter-server data back-up system is equipped with a plurality of servers connected through the networks 10 and 20. Each of the servers 10 and 20 is provided with server operating parts 11 and 21, and server hard disks 12, 13, 22, and 23. The server hard disks 12, 13, 22, and 23 are provided with server hard disk normal areas 12 and 22 for storing a file to be backed up, and server hard disk back-up areas 13 and 23 for storing a copied file for back-up. The server operating part 11 copies a file stored in the server hard disk normal area 12 in the server hard disk back-up area 23 of, at least, one other server of the plurality of servers except the server 10.
