<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make a device small-sized by mounting a motor on a swiveled side and thus saving the motor installation space. <P>SOLUTION: The camera swiveling device 10 has motors 68 and 98 provided on the swivelled side which is swivelled together with a camera 56 relative to a swiveling side which swivels the camera 56. Namely, the panning motor 68 is provided on the side of a panning part 16 swiveling relative to a base part 14 as to a panning direction. Further, a tilt motor 98 is provided on the side of a tilt part 18 swiveling relative to the pan part 6 as to a tilt direction. Rotational force of the motors is transmitted to the swiveling side and the camera on the swiveled side swivels together with the motors with a reaction force from the swiveling side. The motors are mounted on the swiveled side to save the motor installation space as compared with a conventional side provided with motors separately from a swiveling mechanism. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
