<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a caring apparatus for moving in a desired direction by simple supporting operation without force more than needed and facilitating turning, attaining convenience for use and facilitating caring. <P>SOLUTION: A support 3 mounted on a pedestal member 1 is provided with an elevating mechanism 5. A drive wheel 25 for revolving and drive wheels 19, 21 for rectilinear advance rotated through a transmission mechanism 23 by an electric motor 18 are supported on the pedestal member 1. In the transmission mechanism 23, the drive wheel 25 for revolving is rotated by the electric motor 18, and the drive wheels 19, 21 for rectilinear advance are rotated by friction gearing from the drive wheel 25 for revolving. The drive wheel 25 for revolving and the drive wheels 19, 21 for rectilinear advance are relatively moved in the grounding direction Z, so that one is grounded on a floor F, and the other is floated from the floor F. Accordingly, a caring lift device is caused to self-run by the electric motor 18, so that the apparatus is moved in a desired direction only by simple supporting operation without force more than needed and the direction can be easily changed to be convenient for use. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
