PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for relieving a tension which arises from an idea fundamentally different from the conventional one and relieves a tension of the entire body by vibrating the bones small and slowly without vibrating the muscles, and a device for relieving the tension. SOLUTION: Spherical parts 15, 15 on two operating rods 12, 12 protruding on a lid plate 2 of a prescribed box body 1 have a difference in the heights. The operating rods are moved back and forth to vibrate the base of the thumb and the base of the little finger by the spherical parts respectively with the base of the thumb abutting on the higher spherical part and the base of the little finger abutting on the lower one. The spherical parts on two operating rods protruding on the lid plate of the prescribed box body have the difference in the heights. The operating rods are moved back and forth to vibrate the base of the big toe and and the base of the little toe by the spherical parts respectively with the base of the big toe abutting on the lower spherical part and the base of the little toe abutting on the higher one.
