PURPOSE: A method for setting a route in a No.7 signaling system is provided to receive a transmission approval signal, and to set the route by using a value of the received transmission approval signal, thereby enabling software to automatically search a signal route to register No.7 MTP(Message Transfer Part) layer3 information by users. CONSTITUTION: In order to input a self station signal point 'A' from a monitor task(410) and register other station signal points and neighboring signal points(420). A user inputs signal points 'B, C, D, E' of other station from the monitor task(S422), and decides whether the signal points 'B, C, D, E' of the other station are the same as neighboring signal points(S424). If so, the user registers the signal points 'B, C, D, E' of the other station as the neighboring signal points(S426). If the signal points 'B, C, D, E' are not the same as the neighboring signal points, the user inputs the signal points 'B, C, D, E' as other station signal points(S428). The user inputs a signal link and a signal link code(SLC) to be connected with the neighboring signal points from the monitor task(430).
