PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solenoid fuel injection valve for improving the controllability of small injection such as pilot injection by suppressing dispersion of the injection in a range of small injection such as pilot injection attributable to small dispersion of the solenoid valve opening time. SOLUTION: A nozzle needle to open/close a plurality of nozzle holes 10 formed in a tip side of a nozzle body 3 is divided into two, i.e., a large diameter nozzle needle 1 and a small diameter nozzle needle 2. The fuel bearing area of the nozzle needle is smaller than that in the middle of the fuel injection, and the pushing force of the nozzle needle is decreased by lifting only the large diameter nozzle needle 1 in the beginning of the injection start to start the fuel injection into each cylinder of an engine. In the middle of the subsequent fuel injection, the fuel bearing area of the nozzle needle is larger than that in the beginning of the injection start and the pushing force of the nozzle needle is increased by lifting not only the large diameter nozzle needle 1 but also the small diameter nozzle needle 2.
