PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a deflection yoke performing adjustment for compensating YV mis-convergence and raster distortion with minimized number of parts and assembly man-hours, allowing reduced cost. SOLUTION: A pair of U-shaped cores 2 wound with a compensating coil 2a are disposed in a manner that the tip parts are facing each other across the neck part 1c. A first magnetic piece 3A and a second magnetic piece 3B are provided on a small diameter flange 1b side and its opposite side of the core 2 respectively, and are disposed near at least one of the tip parts. The pair of magnetic pieces disposed near the tip parts facing each other are connected by a resin for integration. A first and second rib-like guide part 6Aa, 6Ba are extending at the small diameter flange side and at the opposite side near the tip parts in an approximately parallel direction with the small diameter flange 1b. A first and second mounting part 4A, 4B are provided to allow the first and second magnetic pieces to be mounted abutting the first and second guide parts. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
