PURPOSE: A method for controlling display of a multi-monitor, and a system and a recording medium thereof are provided to automatically arrange an active window to a plurality of monitors without overlap. CONSTITUTION: An adjusting button/icon control module(108) displays an adjusting button or icon on the active window, and monitors that a user activates the adjusting button or icon. A monitor number recognition module(102) understands a number of the used monitors. To understand the most overlapped monitor by each active window, an active window display status recognition module(104) understands a display status of the active window by understanding a coordinate range displayed by each monitor and the coordinate range of each currently displayed active window. An active window adjusting module(106) adjusts each active window to the most overlapped monitor.
