PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide cleaning equipment in which a liquid chemical can be used repeatedly for cleaning a membrane module chemically so that the consumption of the liquid chemical can be reduced. SOLUTION: This cleaning equipment 10 is provided with an acid cleaning system and an alkaline cleaning system. Any of the acid cleaning system and the alkaline cleaning system is composed of a liquid chemical tank 26 or 56 for recovering the liquid chemical from the membrane module 14, a regenerating membrane module 30 or 60 for filtering the liquid chemical in the tank 26 or 56 and a replenishing liquid chemical tank 32 or 62 for storing the liquid chemical to be replenished to the tank 26 or 56. The solid contained in the liquid chemical in the tank 26 or 56 is separated and removed by filtering the liquid chemical by the module 30 or 60. The pH of the liquid chemical in the tank 26 or 56 is adjusted by replenishing the new liquid chemical to the tank 26 or 56 from the tank 32 or 62. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
