PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mobile terminal which can easily input data with one hand without a complicated key operation. SOLUTION: A mobile terminal is provided with a back input portion 13, on the back of a case, for selecting an arbitrary dot of two-dimensional coordinates. A cursor operation, a various kinds of functions selecting operation, or a keyboard operation displayed on a display screen is performed with an inputting means, i.e. general pointing devices such as a touchpad, a trackball, a tablet, a direction indicating button, and a joystick.
