PURPOSE: A docking station for a digital camera is provided to remove any additional adapter for charging a battery of a digital camera by incorporating a charging/discharging battery, thereby maximizing the convenience of use of the docking station. CONSTITUTION: A docking station for a digital camera includes a connector part(4) coupled with a port connection part(3) of a digital camera(2) for transmitting or receiving electric signals to or from the digital camera. An interface part(6) is connected to the connector part and converts parallel data input from the digital camera to serial data according to USB standards of a PC(5). A USB connection part is connected to an USB port(7) of the PC. The USB connection part transmits the digital camera data via the interface part and receives a power voltage provided from the USB port of the PC. A camera charging circuit part(10) boosts the voltage of a battery(9) incorporated in the camera. A rechargeable battery(11) supplies the camera charging part with a charging voltage. A battery charging part(12) charges the rechargeable battery by the voltage supplied via the USB connection port.
