PURPOSE: A water soluble acrylic emulsion type adhesive composition is provided to produce a double-sided adhesive tape having excellent water-proofing and cold resistance and heat resistance and satisfying the VOC restriction criteria. CONSTITUTION: The water soluble acrylic emulsion type adhesive composition comprises 65-70 wt% of an alkyl methacrylate as a base resin, 1-3 wt% of an ethylene glycol diglycidyl ether as a crosslinking agent, 5-10 wt% of a rosin as a tackifying resin, 0.5-3 wt% of ethoxy alkylphenol as a non-ionic surfactant and 20-25 wt% of water as a solvent.
