PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical transmitter-receiver for which manufacturing processes can be simplified. SOLUTION: The optical transmitter-receiver 100 comprises a transparent substrate 110 where a surface light emitting laser 10 is mounted, a transparent substrate 111 where a photodetector 12 is mounted, a transparent substrate 112 where gratings 16, 20 are formed, and a transparent substrate 113 where a grating 18 is formed, all substrates are laminated to form layers. The signal light emitted from the surface light emitting laser 10 is guided by the grating 16 to the grating 18, where the light is condensed to enter an optical fiber 200 connected with a sleeve 22. The signal light emitted from the optical fiber 200 connected with the sleeve 22 is guided by the grating 18 in the direction to the grating 20, where the light is condensed to enter a photodetector 12.
