PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat-resistant paper cup which can be formed by heat-bonding via hot air, has no pin hole occurring, is highly sealable, and is free from phenomena such as foaming and dissolving even if the cup is filled with heated contents or cooked by heat in a microwave oven or the like with contents put in the cup, and a method of manufacturing the cup. SOLUTION: The paper cup has a bent of a bottom member interposed between a barrel and a fold and joined together. A barrel member consists of a base layer of paper, the outermost layer of a polyethylene resin, and the innermost layer of a polypropylene resin or a polyethylene terephthalate resin. A bottom member consists of a base layer of paper and the innermost and outermost layers of a polypropylene resin or a polyethylene terephthalate resin. The method of manufacturing the paper cup includes steps of forming the barrel as a tube by skive-hemming-finishing, interposing the bent part of the bottom member between the barrel and the fold, and heat-bonding by hot air to join with each other.
