PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ignition plug mounting tool for preventing any damages of an ignition plug from being incurred when mounting the ignition plug. SOLUTION: This ignition plug mounting tool 10 is used when inserting an ignition plug 50 in a plug hole 3 of a cylinder head 1, and fitting the ignition plug in a screw hole 5 by a plug wrench 21, and comprises a cylindrical guide part 11 with a plug insert port 13 opened therein and the plug wrench 21 inserted therein, and an ignition plug holding unit 15 which is continuously formed to the guide part 11, contracted toward a tip having a plug delivery port 19 of the diameter smaller than that of the ignition plug 50 opened therein, longitudinally cut into a plurality of holding pieces by slits 17 formed from the tip in the axial direction, and expanded by inserting the plug wrench 21.
