<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical fiber wide area sensor system for realizing a high gain by dividing an array into sub-arrays which are also favorable to reduction of power division loss of signal transmission light, arranging a remote post-amplifier in transmission channel and between the sub-arrays, and reducing input light. <P>SOLUTION: A sensor array system for detecting phase change of signal light by way of interference has a remote excited amplification function for compensating loss, such as transmission loss in long distance transmission or branch loss in a sensor array 4, and is provided with a remote amplifier in the interstage of a partial array 4-2-1 which is divided from the sensor array 4. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
